Mark W. Everson, the 46th Commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service from 2003 to 2007, has a distinguished career spanning both public and private sectors. He held key positions during the Reagan and Bush administrations, including Deputy Director for Management at the Office of Management and Budget and Controller of the Office of Federal Financial Management. Additionally, he played a pivotal role in Indiana’s workforce and unemployment insurance systems under Governor Mitch Daniels. In the private sector, Everson held leadership roles at S.C. International Services, Inc. (SkyChefs) and the Pechiney Group, demonstrating his expertise in finance and operations.
